- 28ime: Its probably giving you error because of following reasons: 1) Iframe doesn't belong to same domain. 2) You are trying to read it before Iframe load event.iMatoria– iMatoria2013-07-05 10:02:14 +00:00Commented Jul 5, 2013 at 10:02
- 1Is there a way to verify if the iframe content is from the same domain, prior to trying to access it and getting an error?Kamafeather– Kamafeather2016-08-05 09:18:17 +00:00Commented Aug 5, 2016 at 9:18

- 1@jperezmartin: You will have to use some javascript library that will transfer information between main page and iframe. Basically its been denied by browser because of Cross Browser functionality. I am sorry, I am not aware of any such library because I never required it.iMatoria– iMatoria2017-05-20 08:35:45 +00:00Commented May 20, 2017 at 8:35

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
