Interesting answer too. Thanks a lot. I was using the ajax functionality in jqmodal, so i looked inside the plugin's source code and it uses load(). That created issue in my main page apparently.

Has this changed since 2010 ? is ajax loading of scripts still inconsistent across browsers?
