  • !((x > 0) ^ (y > 0)) - what a convoluted way of saying ( x <= 0 )^( 0 < y ) - you're essentially trying to say "sign matches", or XNOR - so just invert one side of the xor equation, then you can skip the logical negate altogether Commented Sep 16 at 19:17
