- 1This works but I am looking for something i can put at the end and at the start of an already existing block of code rather than something on every line.Tim.DeVries– Tim.DeVries2014-06-02 19:11:19 +00:00Commented Jun 2, 2014 at 19:11

- 2@Tim.DeVries there is no such functionality in VBA. Your best alternative is to simply use the cursor to select multiple lines of code and press the button for "Comment Block" from the menu bar. There is no syntax that does this.David Zemens– David Zemens2014-06-02 19:13:40 +00:00Commented Jun 2, 2014 at 19:13
- Curious why you'd un-accept my answer (two weeks later!) in favor of a nearly-identical answer that was posted ~2 hours after mine... I have no need for the karma here, I'm just trying to find out why this answer is not good for you now, when it was originally...David Zemens– David Zemens2014-06-11 16:48:22 +00:00Commented Jun 11, 2014 at 16:48

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
