Jun 4, 2014 at 20:02 comment added Dave Kapp "public" / "protected" / "private" do not currently exist, but you can hide things using closures, protocols, and inner classes - this makes it somewhat like the module pattern used in JavaScript commonly. Please see my sample code on my reply here for an example of how to do this. If I'm mistaken about how it works and my example is incorrect please point that out as I'm still learning too. :)
