Wrapper objects for primitive types - i.e. Integer, Long, Double == may not return true even if the two values are equal. It purely depends on Wrapper's cache. Below code will print false because default cache is limited to -128 to 127. Long a = 128l; Long b = 128l; System.out.println(a == b);
