    Using weak on my properties, I get a warning saying: "Weak receiver may be unpredictably set to nil". I have seen some other posts that in order to prevent this warning, you have to create a local strong reference. And if this is true, what's the point to make a property weak, if at the end I have to create a strong reference? Commented Jun 16, 2015 at 23:26
