- 2While this answer will help the poor folk stuck with Eclipse, I strongly recommend that anyone using Eclipse find a better alternative. Especially if you're going to be using Maven. Netbeans and IntelliJ are light years ahead.64BitBob– 64BitBob2017-04-26 13:20:32 +00:00Commented Apr 26, 2017 at 13:20
- @64BitBob Assuming that Netbeans and IntelliJ are better than eclipse, we should always give a solution for those who use it. :)cнŝdk– cнŝdk2017-04-26 13:26:31 +00:00Commented Apr 26, 2017 at 13:26

I wonder if mvn eclipse:eclipse is the command sent by eclipse itself when we rightclick->Maven->Update Project...Paolo– Paolo2020-03-25 07:06:31 +00:00Commented Mar 25, 2020 at 7:06
- @Paolo In my opinion they have automatically added the plugin in new versions of Eclipse, and yes I think it's the same command behind the "Update project" option.cнŝdk– cнŝdk2020-03-25 08:37:15 +00:00Commented Mar 25, 2020 at 8:37

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. python-3.x), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
