I tried this but it did not work. What worked for me was stubbing `query_parameters' to return a hash of the params I would have passed in the query string.

create code fences with backticks ` or tildes ~

for linebreak add 2 spaces at end

backtick escapes `like _so_`
quote by placing > at start of line
to make links (use https whenever possible)
