The problem with continuation-local-storage is that every single module that you use in your app must support using continuation-local-storage or use the same promise library that continuation-local-storage is used by. If even one module doesn't (or you forget to initialize continuation-local-storage for that module's promise library), the entire requestId tracking falls apart for any subsequent requests.
