For users of Bash within CmderCmder on Windows, make sure to create a new .ssh folder in your new home directory.

  1. Go to your home directory cd ~.

  2. Generate ssh keys ssh-keygen.

  3. Leave all inputs blank (keep pressing enter)

  4. Copy the id_rsa.pub file into your Github > Settings > SSH Keys
