  • This could be a little tricky, as we also receive strings from the network via str = System.Text.ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetString(). Perhaps, I am misunderstanding you response. Would you point me to an example of that. Thanks Commented Feb 17, 2009 at 14:47
  • If you're using Encoding.ASCII, you won't be able to handle any accented characters. I suggest you provide more information in the question. Commented Feb 17, 2009 at 14:48
