    This is the best answer, definitely the cleanest and quick solution! In case you've modified platform specific files, be sure to backup them and put the changes back. The easiest way is to use GIT repo and go through changes this process did. Commented Jan 8, 2021 at 22:09

    I also deleted macos/ and web/ folders; However I didn't deleted the build/ folder (I didn't have it). Then the flutter create command re-generated all those folders in a clean way. Great. Commented Oct 3, 2022 at 7:19
