That's actually it, no way!!! Still happening in Unity 2021.3.14f1, this fixed the problem

Worked for me. Thanks. Also, make sure to restart Unity after unchecking. My Unity version 2021.3.17f1

This is VERY HIGH UP in the list of stupid bugs that I've seen in my whole life. Unity 2023 and still going strong.
