I get an operation timed out while installing Umbracocms in VS 2013. I have Nuget manager 2.12 installed.

And exactly how do you believe this has anything to do with .net or Umbraco? Have you tried more than once? Are you sure it's not your internet that's unstable?

You could try downloading the package manually on https://www.nuget.org/packages/UmbracoCms/ - or install a non-Nuget version from here: http://umbraco.com/download .

And by the way, Stack Overflow has standards for good questions - this isn't one.

all you have to do is to open fiddler=> fiddler option => connection => uncheck "act as system proxy on startup". anyways thanks stackoverflow.com/questions/11553591/…
