Feature Proposal: MetaSearch is kinda useless

Motivation

I'd like to be able to easily create a page that shows all of its children. MetaSearch would appear to be the right thing, except that there's no format option!

Well, its this story: each time when META enhancements are proposed, we are told META should be replaced with form fields. In the meantime neither is done.
