Automatic Link Back

http://www.disenchanted.com/dis/linkback.html has a system that uses the referrer data in the http request to add reciprocal links back to a site. i.e. if they have linked to you and someone follows the link, you get a link back to them. Neat.

Anyone want to think how/whether we could do this in TWiki?

This would be a good addition to RefererTricks.

It's an interesting idea. I especially like the bit about "[t]he paragraphs themselves can link back to you", reminiscent of PurpleNumbers. For twiki, we would have to recreate their system as they've given up on making the code into a distributable package. It sounds as if there is a quite a bit of work/maintenance in a referrer filtering stage. (though they do link to some other similar projects which might have code available).
