CVS on Mac OS X

At my work we use WinCVS and MacCVS. But after many attempts to get MacCVS to work with sourceforge, I finally took resort to MacCVSClient X.

First you must follow sourceforge instructions to create a private/public key pair: SSH key generation: OpenSSH. After submittal, you need to wait some 10 minutes before use.

In the meantime you can set up your MacCVSClient preferences: MacCVSClient and SSH on Mac OS X

Try to do a checkout. When the local CVS directory is created, select Open from the File menu. You will get the Module window with all the familiar CVS options.
