Bug: Definition List Not parsed

Both in http://www.wiki.org (RobCampbellTest) and on a test site I installed on my own server, the following test case does NOT get parsed as a definition. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I sure hope it is not a simple typo on my part...

Test case

Japan: Sushi

Environment

TWiki version:
TWiki plugins:
Server OS:
Web server:
Perl version:
Client OS:
Web Browser:

Follow up

Actually, it is a "typo" -- the first word needs to be preceded by three spaces, like so:

 Japan: Sushi

Then it is displayed as:

Japan
Sushi

Digression: There is either a patch or plugin to allow multiple words for the defined term (i.e., before the colon), but AFAICT, it is not installed on twiki.org.
