Hi. Posted a question to support web on how to set up Notify changes on a per page basis, but no response, so figure can't be done.

Could anyone give me any pointers on how I would go about setting it up? I will gladly contribute it if I get it working! Certainly in our project situation it would be very useful if someone makes changes to a page we're "responsible for", and figure it would be helpful in other situations too.

Thanks!

David

This has comes up a few times in Codev, but is non trivial to add. First you need to decide where to store the subscribers, would it be:

  • On the topic
  • On the user's topic
  • On some other page like WebNotify
  • Based on past edits of a topic
or a mixture.

There are a couple of patches posted under PerTopicWebNotifyReports that might do what you want.
