Feature Proposal: Remove question mark links

Motivation

1. The current question mark link hinders the flow of reading.

2. Many people learn about wikis through Wikipedia, and are inspired to deploy a wiki at the workplace.

Description and Documentation

Change TWiki's link style to: 1. remove the question mark link behind a wikiword, 2. use a color and style similar to Mediawiki to indicate a non-existing page. Hovering over a non existing page link should show a tooltip with the name of the topic followed by text "(this topic does not exist)".

This feature was suggested in Support.ChangeFormattingOfBumpyWord by StefanGachter.

I refined the style in above example:

  • Web-standard blue and purple for link and visited, respectively
  • Wine red for non-existing page
  • dotted underlines, turning into solid line on hover
  • Pastel background colors on hover, matching link colors

This is now in TWiki-4.3.0. Some follow-up is required, tracked in TWikibug:Item6229.
