Question
- I want to change the color scheme of our wiki because I want to use the colors of our company.
- We installed the AttachContentPlugin.
- I have opened the topic PatternSkinColorSettings and have followed the steps.
- I think the attached file was changed because I have created a new version.
- My problem: Nothing has changed. The colors kept the same. Do you have an idea what went wrong?
- Thanks for your help.

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box. Not sure about the
AttachContentPlugin, but when we changed the colour scheme we just created a new style sheet overriding some of the styles of pattern skin. We then loaded this style sheet into each view using:
* Set USERSTYLEURL = %PUBURL%/%TWIKIWEB%/PatternSkin/custom.css

I looked at these topics but I have followed the instructions in topic
PatternSkinColorSettings:
Color scheme settings for
PatternSkin Appearance: text colors, background colors, border colors.
Use this topic to change the color settings of
PatternSkin. When this topic is saved, the attachment theme-colors.css will be updated with new color values. This method relies on
TWiki:Plugins.AttachContentPlugin
to work.
Usage Step 1 Let
PatternSkin point to the custom-made colors style sheet. In
TWikiPreferences put:
* Set USERCOLORSURL = %PUBURLPATH%/%MAINWEB%/TWikiPreferences/theme-colors.css
Step 2 Edit this topic, and change the color variables as you like.
I have done it but nothing happened.

Where is your attachment
theme-colors.css? I assume it is just save to the topic PatternSkinColorSettings. If so, point
USERCOLORSURL to that location:
* Set USERCOLORSURL = %PUBURLPATH%/%TWIKIWEB%/PatternSkinColorSettings/theme-colors.css

Now it works. Thank you very much. You are really great! I have just followed the instructions without thinking. It is a bug in the explanation, isn't it? Where can I report it?

I read these questions and answers and followed them, but nothing happend to my colors. I try to change the color of the
SearchResults Summary that is set to "twikiGrayText". Even if I change the twikiGrayText in the
PatternSkinColorSettings to %ALERT_TEXT% (should be the color red), its still light gray when I do a search. Am I at the right position to change the color or have I change it at an other position?

Did you point
USERCOLORSURL in Main.TWikiPreferences to the generated attachment?

In "Main Web -
TWikiPreferences" after the three lines beginning with " * FINALPREFERENCES locks site-level ...." i put
- Set USERCOLORSURL = /p/pub/TWiki06x01/PatternSkinColorSettings/theme-colors.css
which results in
Set USERCOLORSURL = /bvatwiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkinColorSettings/theme-colors.css

Sorry, the line I put into
TWikiPreferences had TWiki-Variables, so in this comment they were replaced by the names of this Web. But I think, the result is the really important thing.

Sorry again. The Problem is solved!!! My browser (Opera 9.23) didn't change the color. When I use Mozilla Firefox, the color of the
SearchSummary-Text is RED.
I'm very sorry that I produced work for you. Please forgive me. Thanks
