Looking forward to speaking at the Texas Power Summit at Texas A&M University on March 4, 2026. AI doesn’t scale on models and GPUs alone: it scales on power. Reliable, responsibly procured energy is now a first-order constraint for AI deployment. Bitcoin led the way in showing how energy, compute, and economics intersect at scale. AI is now following that path. At @BTLabs, our work with Bittensor builds on these lessons — aligning AI, incentives, and power from day one. Excited to contribute and connect this conversation to our work on Bittensor #TexasPowerSummit #AIInfrastructure #Energy #PowerGrid #ComputeAtScale https://lnkd.in/gfTg3_By

Agentic extraction from technical docs has huge applications in manufacturing/construction/energy sectors 🔥 Built a quick demo to show how this actually works in practice 🧵 These industries have heavy technical manuals with diagrams, tables, and schematics that engineers have to manually process and it’s super tedious. LlamaExtract helps you build an agent that can extract structured data directly from the LM317 voltage regulator datasheet - it ensures accurate, consistent JSON output through multimodal understanding + validation loops. Recently, an e-commerce company based here in Louisiana reached out because they wanted a UI/UX audit of their site to improve sales. We started the audit by recommending the obvious improvements, such as compressing images to enhance load speeds and adding alt texts and meta descriptions. But as we dug deeper, we had a powerful insight. 💡My ah-ha moment: With Google now using Core Web Vitals as ranking signals, these measurements look at loading speed, interactivity, and visual stability, all of which overlap with many accessibility best practices in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). What else I found: • Adding accessibility features can 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗯 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟱%. • Data from Mixpanel shows that WCAG-compliant websites had 𝟯𝟳% 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀. • Analytics company Contentsquare reported 𝟮𝟱% 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 on accessible websites within the same industry. Adding accessibility measurements like using sans serif fonts, high-contrast color palettes, clearly labeled buttons, and accessible navigation not only makes your site easier to use for people with disabilities (and meets ADA digital accessibility requirements), but also increases your web conversion. It all makes sense! Since search engines and screen readers access the same kinds of digital elements, when you make your website more accessible, you’re also making it more search engine-friendly. I’d love to hear from others. What is your experience in making your website more inclusive and effective? https://lnkd.in/ghuhWxGD

Ceto announces a $4.8M USD seed round led by Dynamo Ventures with participation from Howden Ventures, Signal Ventures , Motion Ventures, and Chaucer Group. "Maritime has long relied on reactive maintenance practices with planned maintenance systems (PMS) only really gaining in popularity from around the 17th Century although those systems looked very different to the PMS we’re used to seeing on modern day ships. Either way prevention is the first logical step however it was difficult to do this without having an idea on what information was important. Fast forward to modern day shipping and we have amassed a huge volume of operational data and there lies the key to transition the industry from those ancient reactive practices to the predictive solutions offered by Ceto today." Interesting insights about AI (you never learn enough) by Blair Garrou of Mercury Fund at the Plug and Play Tech Center Fall Expo 2025 here in Sugarland Texas Key Insights: 1) B2B over a 10 year span was more favorable towards middle market and SMBs. AI However, is now all in on enterprise 2) Revolutionizing/Modernizing older industries is where AI will be seamless (in construction, certain types of engineering and older processes in energy) 3) It's better to invest in AI that equips workers with another skillset than ones that result in layoffs #startups #venturecapital #ai #emergingtech

Our portfolio company, APFusion, has announced a $6M Series A led by I2BF Global Ventures. The company is building the digital rails to modernize how used and recycled parts are sourced, priced, and delivered. The platform connects 240 salvage yards, and over 70 of them sell on its ShopEarl.com platform. The startup launched the online marketplace in January, and customers include Nordstrom’s Automotive, B&R Auto Wrecking, and M&M Auto Parts. The $30B+ auto salvage market has remained largely offline—fragmented, inefficient, and overlooked. As supply chain pressures and demand for affordable parts intensify, their platform is becoming mission-critical infrastructure for the auto industry. Making 100 dials per week is not the same as generating $X of pipeline per week. Inputs ≠ outcomes. You have to optimize for effectiveness, not just activity. CONTEXT: Recently I shared our operating rhythm for pipegen and how it helps us consistently exceed weekly pipe goals. A lot of it was focused on making sure reps are hitting their input metrics (prospects sequenced, dials made). Inputs are *critical*. There’s no consistent pipe without consistent execution. But the *wrong* inputs (e.g., wrong message sent, wrong persona called, etc.), won’t move the needle. This is our playbook for aligning inputs with outcomes across outbound and inbound: ➡️ Outbound - We take an 80/20 approach to outbound. - 80% of our plays are always-on, proven performers. These are the "right person, right message, right time" plays we've validated through testing different data + signal combos with Common Room. - Many of these plays are automated to some degree on the email side. Example: Economic buyer from downmarket account visits our pricing page → gets added to EB pricing page segment → gets added to EB pricing page sequence → receives AI-personalized message that references recent activity + AI account research. - The other 20% of plays are experimental. Seasonal plays, industry-specific plays, persona-specific plays, etc. - Reps cycle between 2-3 different plays per week. We carve out time to run experiments, report on replies/connect rates, and measure pipe impact. Winners get rotated into the always-on camp. Losers get discarded. And the experimentation continues. ⬅️ Inbound - We’re not big on gated content at Common Room. We like to show, not tell. - That means we rely heavily on our own product to connect the dots between marketing efforts and inbound leads (e.g., website visit identification, social listening, etc.). - We’re also big believers in the “How did you hear about us?” field on sign-up forms. - We review performance multiple times per week and fine-tune strategy accordingly. - This creates an always-on feedback loop we use to inform everything from content creation to paid ad targeting. —— The key to both is speed and agility. The ability to tweak or turn on and off on a dime. Pipe never sleeps. Neither can your strategy.
