- 1I don't really understand why your question was downvoted; indeed, I have now actually upvoted it. It's on topic, relevant, and demonstrates prior research before asking - which are the general criteria expected of a good question. The only thing I edited about your question was the title (changed primary to secondary, to reflect what you were asking) - besides that, it looks like a fair and reasonable question. - 1Downvote is not mine. But the question is not clear. What is meant by primary and secondary? Are they both using the same Google account? Why is it a problem signing out until the phone is fixed?Rohit Gupta– Rohit Gupta2025-07-12 05:00:48 +00:00Commented Jul 12 at 5:00
- @RohitGupta. Primary is the main device; secondary is a backup device. The post makes it obvious that the two are signed in to the same Google account. Signing out of the Google account on an Android device uninstalls all Play Store apps, and essentially resets the device. It therefore doesn't make sense, in many cases, to log out, only to log back in and go through the whole setup and configuration process in just a few days/weeks.Alex Essilfie– Alex Essilfie2025-07-17 12:29:36 +00:00Commented Jul 17 at 12:29
- 1@AlexEssilfie To my knowledge signing out of a Google account does not uninstall any app. They just stay as they are with all data. Only some paid apps may refuse to work afterwards. Only when you perform a factory reset all apps are deleted.Robert– Robert2025-07-17 17:25:45 +00:00Commented Jul 17 at 17:25

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. google-play-store), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
