Feb 16, 2017 at 1:54 comment added Sergei Glimis Ok sorry for being lazy, i did what you have told me to do I wired up a button to the reset and ground of the pro micro and clicked it twice then looked at the port tab and there was still nothing it didn't do anything! :( What's the problem, because I should just buy more at this point, but I still want to fix these I paid for :(

Feb 15, 2017 at 15:10 comment added Enric Blanco Are you trolling me or what? How can you ask how to force bootloader mode, when I've pointed that information to you several times. I've got tired of this, sorry. You've shown no effort to follow any single piece of advice, starting by ignoring the article I linked to. Good luck!
Feb 15, 2017 at 13:18 comment added Sergei Glimis It does not show up on the serial port, How do I force boot loader mode?
Feb 15, 2017 at 9:38 comment added Enric Blanco C'mon... It seems you're not following the procedure. Does the serial port show up when you force the bootloader mode? Don't use another Arduino, but the USB port of your Mac. Once you force the bootloader mode, you have an 8 seconds window to check whether it appears or not in "Tools -> Serial Port", so be quick!
Feb 14, 2017 at 12:06 comment added Enric Blanco I've updated the answer with additional information regarding how to unbrick your board. And, for God's sake, READ THE FULL ARTICLE.

Feb 14, 2017 at 11:43 comment added Enric Blanco Please read the full article that I have linked to you. There is a section with a Pro Micro specific "blink" example code. Copy it to a new sketch, try to upload it and see what happens.
