- for now, i have moved the discover part to setup() and every 30minutes the esp is restarted... it's not the best approach, but it works... conclusion: discover and connect do not work togetherTed Mosby– Ted Mosby2023-07-24 07:38:32 +00:00Commented Jul 24, 2023 at 7:38
- Welcome to SE/Arduino! Please take the tour to learn how this site works, and read "How to Ask". -- This sounds like a memory overflow problem. What exception is unhandled? Doesn't the ESP tell you more? Are you sure your memory management is correct? (I do not look through code without knowing the exact error message.) -- Please edit your question if you have new information, do not post comments. - Hi @the busybee, sorry for that misguided post...I will do that again. I was a bit stumped and desperate. My troubleshooting started with the memory overflow (I "fixed" it with delay(XXX)) until I finally came to the conclusion that the discover() function is not usable after a connect(). Because of that i moved the discover()-function to setup() and for the moment I restart the ESP32 regularly. Not nice but it works. The memory overload was not the real problem.Ted Mosby– Ted Mosby2023-07-25 18:33:50 +00:00Commented Jul 25, 2023 at 18:33

print(foo)
``` - put returns between paragraphs
- for linebreak add 2 spaces at end
- _italic_ or **bold**
How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. arduino-uno), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
