Legend tells of one who is destined to inherit the magic of a powerful magician named Clow Reed. Clow Reed, prior to his death, chose a successor to his magic. The magic that he was passing down to his successor happened to be in the form of cards resembling the Tarot, however these cards each had their own power and personality. The cards represented a combination of Eastern and Western magic centered around the concepts of natural forces and elements. Clow Reed, upon seeing his successor in the distant future, sealed the cards in a book known as the Book of Clow, and formed a sealing wand for his successor prior to his death. Now many years have passed since his death and his successor has been born, but who could it possibly be?

            

The Source of all Evil one day saw that the successor of Clow Reed happened to descend from The Charmed Ones, although he was not sure who. In order to prevent this from happening, The Source had ordered his minions to dispose of the children, sending them to an alternate universe where magic did not exist, where they were a work of fiction, a TV show, many books, a source of entertainment, as killing them might not have worked as planned, disposing of the children to this alternate universe would have been easier, and caused The Charmed Ones quite a bit of distress for a longer time than simply killing them would have. There happened to be another plan as well, to break up The Charmed One's marriages and plant them with new husbands, clones of magical beings that were once in their lives, in order to cause more distress and turmoil.

         

Meanwhile, Piper and Leo's marriage happened to be fading. The once happy couple could not understand the source of their anger, and shortly after their youngest's birth, they divorced, Piper taking custody of the boys, and Leo taking custody of their daughter. Phoebe and Coop too had problems. The same source of their anger was unexplained, but shortly after their youngest was born, they too split up, Phoebe taking her oldest and youngest, while Coop having custody of their middle child, who happened to be too attached to her father to want to leave his side. Paige's marriage to Henry ended the same way, Paige taking Henry Jr, and Henry getting custody of the twins. The only two who were not effected by the anger were Prue and Andy, who married shortly after Paige's divorce.

         

After all had happened, The Charmed Ones had remarried. Paige had fallen for her old love Kyle and soon married him. Drake somehow came back into Phoebe's life and ended up marrying him. Finally the strangest thing of all happened, Piper married Cole, a couple who shocked everyone around them. Prue happened to be the only one who saw something strange going on, but she didn't question it. Then the strangest thing of all happened. Upon waking one morning, all of the children had vanished into thin air, not able to be sensed or found. Years after searching for the children had passed, and each family had wound up empty handed. The only couple who still had children were Prue and Andy. What happened to the children? Will anyone find the portal to the other universe? And who is the successor to Clow Reed?
