Another day, another round of layoffs in the video game industry.

After recent backlash against Epic Games for increasing V Bucks pricing, now here comes multi-billionaire CEO Tim Sweeney announcing the layoff of 1,000 employees at the company.

Oh, but they have millions to payout to shitty creator maps but I digress…

“Since it's a thing now, I should note that the layoffs aren't related to AI,” wrote Sweeney.

Fortnite modes Rocket Racing, Ballistic and Festival Battle Stage are also shutting down as a result.

Tina Knowles' Texas pop-up eatery was temporarily shut down after a customer complained they vomited blood after eating the gumbo. Health inspectors found the pop-up operators grossly mishandled seafood.

“Operators were very cooperative and asked questions about how to gain compliance with the department. Operators stated that they will cease food preparation at an off-site facility and only prepared foods on-site, pending department’s approval of the new permit application,” the records state.

Mama Tina’s was cleared to re-open on that Tuesday afternoon, according to the Houston Health Department.
