I will admit, I think part of the reason that I enjoyed this show so much -- at least at first -- is that I had really low expectations. And after I started watching I stuck with it at originally due to 1) the fabulous and pretty much unprecedented use of Toronto-as-Toronto on TV, and 2) Craig Olejnik's eyes.

(As you will soon see the second point is a recurring theme in the icons below.)

Eventually the show grew on me as itself, and I started to enjoy the formula and the overarching plot, to the point that now that I've seen the first season finale -- cliffhanger included natch -- I'm dying for more. When that sort of thinking starts to happen, then the show has officially become icon-worthy.
