- Hi @Sean , Thank you for the responses. Please see I added point 5 above which can be the missing point you lookung for. Missed to mention it. The disk layout is same across all AG replicas.Learning_Learning– Learning_Learning2019-02-28 15:19:43 +00:00Commented Feb 28, 2019 at 15:19
- @SQLBoy Adding and removing the database from an availability group doesn't change the TDE Encryption status, but thank you for adding more information.Sean Gallardy– Sean Gallardy2019-02-28 15:47:28 +00:00Commented Feb 28, 2019 at 15:47
- Sincere Apology , I am new to TDE and after reading more , I got the understanding over the situation . I got confused between Is_Encrypted and Encryption_State . What I have now is Is_encrypted State 1 but in a confused state checked the Encryption_state to 1 which means Unencrypted. In actual encryption state is 3 and is_encrypted is 1 . Yes the DBs are enabled for encryption. Accepted all your points as answers . Thanks.Learning_Learning– Learning_Learning2019-02-28 17:21:52 +00:00Commented Feb 28, 2019 at 17:21

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. sql-server), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
