  • Interesting! Yes the selectivity estimates are different between the two tables. I wonder if that is related to the histogram differences. For table_a with a histogram, selectivity appears to be 0.01% of the row count; for table_b without a histogram it appears to be 1.0% of the row count. Commented Oct 21, 2021 at 13:37
