Hi David, that's great... it works. Indeed there were a comment on the article I followed that point exactly with the same issue. My mistake. I am using user_external_login_register on my module; the LDAP Integration I analysed on the past aswell but finally I started with a first approach from other team who they have been implemented the main common functions we need for our LDAP Server that is not a standard one as openLDAP and the bind mechanism is quite different.
