The Silk Commission, into
devolution issues, has been meeting over the past two days in Cardiff.
Now, amid a succession of no doubt very agreeable luncheons, the body will set about preparing recommendations on Wales' financial package to be published in 12 months' time, with another year then being spent on the vaguer "wider
devolution issues".
"There are a number of
devolution issues and it may be the application might be required to be amended."
Leaders may decide not to send some
devolution issues to currently established committees.
Therefore, for better coordination, they should form the blocs to attract investments and assemblies have a crucial role in this," said Mr Thomas Toumldtling, the project director of Konrad Adenauer Foundation which monitors
devolution issues in Kenya.
If Stephen Crabb really wants to do his best for Wales and put an end to arguments about the extent of devolution, he should focus on delivering the all-party endorsed Silk Commission report instead of his own politically biased version which doesn't resolve some of the basic
devolution issues.
