about me

Hi, I'm enumer8! This website will be a collection of my interests and projects. I'm a self-taught programmer primarily interested in graphics and games programming, usually from scratch - C and assembly language in various flavors. I'm currently working on a small demo for the Sega Dreamcast. Visit my Github page, and you'll find it as the pinned repo. I've also been experimenting with programming language development, simple utility applications written in MASM, and I'm hoping to get into OSdev one of these days. These projects are still private and stored on my local drive for now, but fingers crossed I'll put them up on Github/Gitea/SourceForge/Forgejo or something similar at some point.

I got my start programming tiny games and animations in Macromedia Flash 8 some 20 odd years ago, then experimenting with hex-editing and ROMhacking NES/SNES games as a kid. I've always been into figuring out how things work from the ground-up and inside out so there are no black boxes or hidden secrets left out. I've really been influenced by Mike Acton's philosophy re: Data-Oriented Programming.
