My first ever fanmix and of course it's James Callis. ;)
I love his character Trevor Grant, and since he's from 1947 I compiled some songs of the 30s and 40s that I think fit with 'Mr. Old Spice' and his situation in present day Eureka.

I just watched the last scene of Nathan Stark and as always, I cried. I have never seen a show give an ending to a main character as elegantly and thoughtfully as Eureka gave Nathan. They didn’t have him move away or leave town for no reason, they didn’t have him shot or killed off in some stupid way, they let him leave as the brave, brilliant, hero that he always was, saving the world in the process. He took care of Fargo, he took care of Allison, he took care of Global Dynamics. “I knew you had it in you, Fargo.” “I didn’t.” Oh my goodness. My heart.

I love that Nathan gives Carter the necklace and asks him to make sure Ally knows that he did this for her. The score playing in the background as the suspense of the scene builds, it makes tears roll down my cheeks. And as our hero stands back, ready to synchronize the clock, he says the line that breaks your heart, “I’ll see you around, Jack.” DUDE. My heart skips a beat every time I watch that moment.

And Jack, like the noble soldier, stands right there by Nathan, with honor and integrity. After Nathan dematerializes, the look on Jack’s face is so powerful. A combination of, “Wow, he really did love her and he really was a hero.”

It was an absolutely beautiful send off for an absolutely glorious character. I miss Nathan. I’ll always wish he could’ve come back to the show, but as far as character send offs go, no show has ever done a more eloquent job of killing off a main character than Eureka did. They did Nathan justice.
