There's no point playing it more than once because the second time you'll know all the solutions already, but you can take as long as you want to do everything on your first playthrough.

They just want a player to play the game "for long". They gave several examples of games with a repeated match element, but personally I played The Talos Principle for 43 hours. That's a significant amount of time to spend on a single game. As for the first bullet point: That's kind of the point. A game is meaningless if for all choices, there is no way to determine which option you want to pick. You want to pick the "better" option, because you want to finish the game.
