Dec 5, 2011 at 12:34 comment added Valmond if you grow around by iteration, ie. set out 1 point of desert and then randomly grow around any desert point (each time randomly take one of the existing desert points and add 1 point on one of its sides (where there are nothing yet)) then you should get a blobby effect (no long lines for example).
