Our team uses Slack as our primary communication tool.

Describe the solution you'd like

A PostHog AI Slack bot (similar to how Max works in the PostHog UI) that lets anyone in a Slack workspace ask natural language questions about their product metrics directly in a channel or DM.

Examples:

• "Hey @PostHog, how many signups did we get this week?"
• "What's our DAU for the last 7 days?"
• "How is the checkout funnel converting this month?"

The bot would respond with a summary and ideally a link back to the relevant insight in PostHog.

Describe alternatives you've considered

• Slack subscriptions for scheduled dashboard snapshots – useful but not interactive
• Alerts – reactive, not on-demand
• Manually sharing insight links – requires someone to already be in PostHog

Additional context

PostHog already has a capable AI assistant (Max) that can answer metric questions inside the product. Extending this to Slack would make data more accessible to whole teams without requiring everyone to log into the site.
