Currently, deploying the DEMIS in a GitOps-friendly way is quite difficult, as most tooling does not integrate with Makefiles and only supports Terraform directly like via a Terraform controller.

Would it be possible to provide an Umbrella Helm Chart — a single Helm chart that lists all ~90 existing charts as dependencies? This approach is commonly recommended for managing multiple charts, as it can simplify deployment and reduce complexity (Helm documentation reference).

I’m also curious whether there are technical or bureaucratic reasons why Terraform is used not only for provisioning infrastructure but also for deploying the application itself. Are there constraints that make an umbrella chart infeasible for this project?
