- I can't reproduce the problem. It might have something to do with the way the original object has been constructed. Path > Stroke to Path will generally work with anything made in Inkscape. If you are using other software to make it, then import it into Inkscape, then that might be the source of problem. You can share SVGs over at svgshare.com - no login is required.
