  • Can you share the URL of the site in question? Have you defined a column count (products per row) at all - either in the template file or via XML update (<action method="setProductsCount"><count>3</count></action>)? Commented Sep 5, 2014 at 10:13

  • Your new products on the homepage are set to 5 per row (there is only 4 products there). Subsequently, the styling for 5 columns is being used products-grid products-grid--max-5-col. Commented Sep 5, 2014 at 13:38
  • even if i set i nthe admin the numbers, i.e. 4,8,16,20 etc, its makes no difference for me. Is there something i am missing with this then, how can i get it to use max-4-col then, if there is one Commented Sep 7, 2014 at 14:36
