When I open the front end of my website it can't find different files and they are only css files not being found e.g. /pub/static/version1486733880/frontend/Meigee/blacknwhite/en_IE/css/styles.css

I have cleared all the caches and ran php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy, but it didn't make a different. It was okay until this morning, but then it stopped loading. If I change to the luma theme then everything will load fine. I have removed the folders in this thread, but it didn't make any difference. The owner of the folders are all the same and the permissions are set to 755. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Here is the content of the pub/static htaccess file.

  • Do you have mod rewrite is enabled in apache server? Commented Feb 10, 2017 at 21:42
  • When you run setup:static-content:deploy, does it show that files are being generated for your Meigee/blacknwhite theme? Also, does your theme actually have any files in it? Commented Feb 15, 2017 at 6:45
