- $\begingroup$ Navigating tutorials tree was way more easier earlier, but I started using mma after that change was made. It took me 2 releases to notice they have such structure. And in V11 WRI even removed top docked cell which was giving tips like: 'Virtual Book > Dynamic Interactivity > Dynamic and DynamicModule > Advanced Dynamic Functionality' $\endgroup$Kuba– Kuba2017-04-11 11:26:45 +00:00Commented Apr 11, 2017 at 11:26
- $\begingroup$ @Kuba Yes, and they removed all Tutorial links from Guide Pages (and Tutorial links from the top of other pages). Now a lot of structure is lost, and it is hard to get around with search only. $\endgroup$Szabolcs– Szabolcs2017-04-11 11:28:31 +00:00Commented Apr 11, 2017 at 11:28
- $\begingroup$ Search engine is ridiculous, try "The Main Loop", it fails even though there is a tutorial with the exact name... 'main loop' will show it :) $\endgroup$Kuba– Kuba2017-04-11 11:30:16 +00:00Commented Apr 11, 2017 at 11:30
- 1$\begingroup$ @Kuba Yes, using "stop words" such as "the", "in", "is", etc. in search used to prevent showing useful results containing these very words. I reported this a while ago. I am happy to see that the issue is fixed in 11.2 (with the new doc search system). $\endgroup$Szabolcs– Szabolcs2017-09-29 12:32:21 +00:00Commented Sep 29, 2017 at 12:32

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. list-manipulation), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
