  • $\begingroup$ Please don't use JPG for non-photographic images. JPG uses lossy compression that is ideal for photographs, but causes severe artefacts in non-photographic images with discrete curves, text and solid-colour regions, such as screenshots and diagrams. You can clearly see these artefacts in this image. For non-photographic images, you should always use PNG. $\endgroup$ Commented Mar 16 at 13:32
