I'm Crazy, by DARK NESS. More of an action!Bucky vid, another short one, and the editing is spectacularly on beat. Based on Bucky's line "I know a crazy when I see one, because I am crazy," LOL.



Change, by Just4FunVids925. THE EDITING IN THIS VID!!! The dialogue is a bit over-warped in places (it sounds better via headphones), but the quality of the editing is just outstanding. I recommend watching it at least 2 or 3 times to get the full effect of the clips + the lyrics.

Okay. First of all. Who knew a FUNNY Bucky vid would ever be possible? But here it is, and it's a masterpiece. 🤣

And finally, the one I've been looking forward to for weeks - SecretlyToDream's full series Bucky-arc video. SecretlyToDream has been my favourite vidder for YEARS because of the incredible artistry in every one of their vids. If there's symbolism or foreshadowing or throwbacks or parallels in the movies/show, SecretlyToDream will find it, edit it together, and drag tears out of your eyes with it. I knew this vid would be fantastic.

SEASON FINALE!! HE CALLED IT THE SEASON FINALE!!!! SEEEEEEASON!!!!!!!!!!

The theme of a lot of this week's new Bucky vids is Bucky's resilience against all odds, and I am LIVING for it. I've found a few new all-time faves.

Survivor (by Jagreenie) - The timing in the action sequences in this vid!! Also, I need to download this song, because I like it so much more than the original Destiny's Child version. EPIC. Bucky is the ultimate survivor.



Shattered (by LilianHearts) - I've always loved this song, and I've seen it used for Bucky vids before, but with the new footage and this vid's focus on the end of the song rather than the beginning, it takes on a whole new meaning. This is Bucky regaining his hope. (Also, the timing of Bucky going dusty gives me CHILLS)

Edit: After watching this about a dozen more times, I think I just realized why this is the best use I've seen of this song in a Bucky vid - the line "his love will conquer all" isn't talking about Steve, nor even about Sam. From the clip choices on that line, it's BUCKY'S love this vidder is talking about. His ability to love (his friends, his team, the shield, humanity, freedom, and hopefully one day himself) has survived everything he's been through, and it's what keeps him going. Oh Bucky... 😭



Keeping Me Alive (by Madelyn Thompson) - Another new favourite video AND song! This one is action-packed, but in a way that shows Bucky's progress from assassin to hero, and the editing is SO PERFECT, and the clip choice works SO BEAUTIFULLY with the lyrics. It's the perfect blend of angst and action, and really showcases Bucky's fight to reclaim himself.

I've finally found The One. The perfect Bucky vid I've been searching for all these years. I knew I loved it the first time I watched it, but it took until the second or third viewing for its perfection to sink in. The SONG, the way the clips fit every line of the lyrics to the letter, the flow of the editing, the blending of all the Bucky footage through the years without overuse of the new stuff, ALL OF IT. I love absolutely every last morsel of this vid.

The song is Bird Set Free by Sia. I'd somehow never heard it before, but now it's my favourite.

This one has all the fun and exciting moments from episode 3 in one convenient place for repeated viewings! So thoughtful. :D

It feels so good to be obsessing this deeply over a TV show again! It's been a long time.

You guys. WandaVision is SO GOOD. SOOOO GOOOOOOD. It's been a while since I've wanted to change my default userpic, so that should tell you how much I'm loving it!

And this is the Marvel show I had the lowest expectations for. What other mind-blowing awesomeness is in store for us??

Need this in my life RIGHT. NOW. Gonna be so awesome!! (Also: Hi, Raza Jaffrey at 2:16! :D)

I'll probably post more once I've screencapped the teaser, and rumour is the full trailer will be out soon, at which point I'll probably go icon-crazy. I haven't been this excited about an upcoming show in a loooooong time. :D

Just a little Code Black fic I wrote for hineas_estel, expressing our snarky feelings about the show getting rid of its best characters. (Spoiler alert: Malaya Pineda, aka Melanie Chandra, is the latest to be unceremoniously dropped between seasons.)

Disclaimer: I didn't watch season 2, so I'm working from second-hand information. But this is set shortly after the events of that season.

No warnings, unless you think my snarky attitude at the way this show treats its actors might offend you. Characters used are Neal, Malaya, Christa, and Mike.
