    It's all right here in the official W3C specification: [link to w3schools] I've seen the opposite happen as well: someone posts a link to the actual W3C specification, only to have a W3Fools link dropped on them. Commented Jan 29, 2012 at 21:54

  • @BilltheLizard: Really? That's a new one to me, I've never once seen that - and I spend most of my time in the HTML/CSS tags. Are you sure it wasn't the w3schools W3C Tutorial? Commented Jan 30, 2012 at 17:05
