Is there a reason the current filter to show only unread items is insufficient for this purpose?

@V2Blast the need to context-switch, mostly. Currently, you can only toggle between "all", which has items sorted by date (thus, sometimes making it a bit hard to find unread items quickly, especially for an active user like myself), and "unread", which obviously leaves out read items (thus necessitating another switch back to "all" once a user is done with checking unread items. Having a way to get the best of both worlds would be nice - it's far from a critical FR, just a QoL thing.
