Probably because I mainly use the timeline view when there are multiple posts getting a lot of comments at the same time. Maybe it is because I prefer keyboard usage, but having to click or hover to get at the main information of the page is uncool. | |

It looks like this might give a full chronology of comments, rather than just on a single post which is something I think is lacking, but I don't like how all the content is hidden.
