Thanks for the good links. Douglas Crockford's book seems to be a good suggestion for me. But do you know of any free IDEs or eclipse plugins.

Use visual web developer express. It's free! asp.net/downloads Or aptana - it's free! aptana.org. Even netbeans is a good alternative! netbeans.org And it's free too! Or notepad++ notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.3.html Even flashdevelop would work flashdevelop.org
