    0 AND -1 == whatever boolean value you cast them to. That's what my question is about, why casting them to TRUE or FALSE. Never did I say - maybe I did, but it was not intended - integers were true or false, I asked about why they do evaluate to whichever when casted to boolean. Commented May 15, 2013 at 21:25
